Welcome to our October Blog Hop
featuring our new Base & Bling line! This line of products lets you
have fun – and you can wear your art. It’s
headbands, rings, bracelets, necklaces and hair clips, but it can be so much
more – just let you creativity go! So
join us as my fellow Canadian CTMH consultants show you what you can do with
Base and Bling.
ABOUT THE HOP
- This is a circular hop so you can start here and go all the way around.
- If you came from the talented Krista’s “Simply Creating” blog, then you are going in the right direction!
- And if you want to follow us from coast to coast, then please start at the beginning with Michelle S.’s "My Creations with Michelle" blog. The complete blog list is also found here if you get lost along the way.

MY PROJECT:
MY PROJECT:
OK, so I’m not much of a jewellery person. I don’t wear it often, and quite honestly, I
didn’t quite know what to do with Base & Bling … in the beginning. But then I started thinking about the things
I DO like to make, especially at this time of year, and thought that the
B&B would work WONDERFULLY to make ornaments for my Christmas tree.
So here they are. Two
adorable and different ornaments that you can clip right onto your tree
branches, using the Base & Bling hair clip.
I simply got my Christmas Creative Mojo going and built the ornament
using stamps, CTMH papers and my wonderful Cricut Artbooking cartridge. Then, I used the Base & Bling adhesive to
attach it to the hair clip.
** REMEMBER: Make sure you attach to the back with the hair
clip “tongs” pointing the right way!
The first ornament I made was the Flakey Friends
snowflake. Super cute, especially when
embellished with just a touch of silver Glitter Gel. I used 3D foam in between each layer to give
it some dimension.
The second ornament I made was this super cute springy
Santa. It’s using a new stamp in the Holiday
mini, and our awesome self-adhesive springs – I love how Santa boings and
dances!
These clips were originally designed for the tree, but they
can also be used to dress up a gift bag for someone special!
** WARNING **
These
ornaments can be addictive! As I was
making these,
I kept coming up with ideas to do more and more.
Santa, please bring me time to create them
all!
