Valentine’s Day isn’t a big holiday in our house.  We work hard all year long to find quality time – if not quantity time – together, as a couple and as a family.  Well, as it turns out, V-Day occurs during Family Day weekend, so we get to celebrate two holidays together.

With the Team Brae-ers Blog Hop this month, we are focusing on Valentine’s Day and all of the fun, adorable and love-filled creations we can make.  So join us as my fellow CTMH consultants and I show you some Cupid-approved projects that you can make too!

·         This is a circular hop so you can start here and go all the way around.
·         If you came from the super Michelle's "My Creations" blog, then you are going in the right direction.
·         Visit Brae’s blog for the complete blog list of participants if you get lost along the way.

HERE'S MY PROJECT: My Anchor Mini Cards

I love making 3x3 cards.  They can be very cute and very creative, but the size also forces you to keep things simple.  They are good for gift tags, lunch box notes or just a sweet little “I Love You”.

I also have a passion for all things nautical – boats, lighthouses, anchors and more.  So the “My Anchor” stamp set and Thin Cuts dies were just the perfect things for my Valentine’s cards.

I think my sweet hubby (who is also my best friend and truly my anchor) and my boys will like waking up to these cards Sunday morning.

Your next stop on the Valentine's Day Blog Hop is the crafty Michelle's "The Right Hugh" blog.  (I'm bookended by Michelle's this hop!!  Tee hee!)

Please take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers....whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see.

Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, paper and techniques seen along the way.

  1. A rose between 2 thorns maybe??? LOL.
Love your cards, I rarely do 3x3 but I like the idea for valentines!
    Michelle #2 :)

  2. I love 3x3 cards too. I use them to top gifts or write excuses for my kids' school

  3. I love 3x3 cards, I use these to put in with my orders when I deliver to my customers. Your Valentines are cute and your family are sure to love them.

  4. Very cute - I think the Regatta paper fits your family perfectly!

  5. I always forget about using the 3x3 cards. Great cards
