Sam had a fantastic teacher this year.  In Mr. Paron's class, Sam grew by leaps and bounds and we are so proud at how much he's learned and how much he's matured.  I can start to see glimmers of the man he's going to be. So I wanted to do something special for Mr. Paron's end-of-year gift. But what do you give a male teacher?  Sam said he likes to go camping with his sons, so a Make Your Own S'mores kit seemed like a great idea.

Here's the box, using CMTH Back Country paper and the Beary Much stamp set -- one of my faves!  I used ribbon as an accent on the sides, and just a few brads on the top.  Inside, all the fixin's for yummy s'mores.

And here's the card I included inside.  Thank you Mojo Monday for the sketch!  And thank you, Hershey's for the s'mores recipe I added to the card (sorry the picture is so dark).

I am entering this project for several challenges:
Paper Cubed -- treat wrapping challenge for June
Hidden Treasures - use ribbon
Mojo Monday - card sketch
Just Cute Bears - open challenge -- and these are the cutest bears ever.

Please leave a comment. Did I go overboard?
Hubby thinks so, but I am so happy with how this all turned out.  I probably would have done even more, if I had had more time.  :)

  1. Sheri!! This is AMAZING! How in the world do you find the time?? Coming from a teacher's point of view - he will love it. It's thoughtful and made from the heart...which shows him how much you appreciate him. Teachers usually only hear from parents when there is an issue...so being recognized just because he's good at his job means a lot to a teacher!

Did not go overboard at all...it's just perfect!

  11. I think your gift is heartfelt and fabulous. Teachers can only drink out of so many #1 teacher coffee mugs. This has so much more meaning. Great job!

  17. Sheri - This is so absolutely adorable. My daughter has a male teach this year so I hope you don't mind but I am going to scraplift a little of it. - Also love that Bear set and the other Bear one they cam out with too can't remember the name off the top of my head. I was wondering the forks that you have in there - where did you find the shorter ones like that? Would love to see if I could find a couple as well for the kit. Again just love it. I will probably email you as well with the question on the sticks just incase you don't check comments everyday.
