Welcome to this week's Color Dare from Color my Heart. Slate and Whisper are two of my favourite neutrals, and I love how it really makes the Cranberry (my choice) pop! I hope you will come and play with us this week and enter for your chance to win bragging rights and warm applause!
I created this 12x12 canvas for my son Charlie, so he can showcase his soccer memories in his bedroom. I wanted to make something sporty and fun, but also flexible, so that he can change up the photo each season, without having to remake the frame. So I attached a regular 8.5x11 page protector to the canvas and the photo just slides in and out.
To attach the page protector, I used the adhesive strips from the Base & Bling collection for a good, strong stick!
And how could I create something sporty and fun without Artbooking?? The background overlay gives great texture, and the shapes and accents really add to the finished product. I loved how I could layer and layer and still be flexible.

Sheri, what a great idea to attach a page protector onto the canvas! I really like how the Cranberry looks with the greys (that's why I chose it too!). Great job!
